Part of what makes Crooms Academy of Information Technology (AoIT) unique is its commitment to making technology education relevant to the “real world.” To forge that vital link, we rely on partners from the local business community and offer a large number of programs to engage with students and teachers.
The mission of the Crooms Academy of Information Technology’s Business Advisory Council is to support the goals of the school. The Council provides advisory and partnership services to enable a smooth student transition into higher education and the technology workforce. The Council creates awareness, facilitates growth and solicits support for the academy’s programs.
The BAC helps Crooms Academy provide their students with programs like internships, career information sessions, and workplace tours, as well as set them up for success. If you are interested in joining this council and supporting our students, feel free to look around this website and email cathy_alper@scps.k12.fl.us or call (407) 320 5749.
