About Crooms

Crooms Academy of Information Technology is a National Academy Foundation (NAF) Certified Distinguished High School and the only dedicated magnet high school in Seminole County. The school offers a well‐rounded high school experience with a rigorous academic program and technology-focused coursework in the areas of:

  • Multimedia Design
  • Computer Programming
  • Web Development
  • Network Systems Technology

The Crooms Academy does not just provide technology courses, however: we offer our students Dual Enrollment, AP, and Honors class opportunities. In addition, students have the opportunity to earn their Associate in Arts degree while attending Crooms through our AA Pathway partnership with Seminole State College. We believe that teaching our students about careers and their future is important, and provide paid internships, workplace tours, and career information sessions in order to set them up for success.

Our 700 students are involved in many clubs and prestigious organizations around campus. These include Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society, SECME, Mu Alpha Theta, Robotics, Beta Club, Sanford Mayors Youth Council, Drama Club, and CroomsCon Staff.
