Kids Against Hunger is a humanitarian food-aid organization that aims to reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. This organization pack-ages highly nutritious meals for starving children and malnourished children and their families in the United States.
On January 27, 2011 students from Crooms Academy of Information Technology paired with Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School to participate in a student-centered project. Crooms students assisted Goldsboro students in bagging 4,752 meals for needy families in Seminole County. Through this combined effort, students were able to experience the joy of giving back to their community.
